Deputies: Park restrooms intentionally set on fire in Berrien County

BAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Restrooms at a Berrien County park were set ablaze on purpose, according to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say on Friday, a witness near Flowing Wells Roadside Park on M-140 noticed the park’s restrooms were fully engulfed in flames.

Investigators who responded to the scene determined the fire was an act of arson.

The park is owned by the Michigan Department of Transportation.
