Deputies seize drugs, arrest four following traffic stop

Nicholas Jackson, 36, Sturgis was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of legend drug, possession of controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of pseudoephedrine, and possession of hypodermic needles.

Robert Patterson, 34, Three Rivers was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Jonathon Lee King-Weinberg, 26, Sturgis was arrested on a preliminary charge of identity deception, receiving stolen auto parts, possession of marijuana, Michigan Department of Corrections warrant.

LA GRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- Four people were arrested on multiple charges after a deputy conducted a traffic stop on their vehicle Tuesday evening, according to the La Grange County Sheriff's Office.

Around 8:30 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2010 Ford Escape in the parking lot of the Super 8 motel, where the occupants of the vehicle were staying, reports said.

During the traffic stop, deputies detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, reports said.

After conducting a search of the vehicle, deputies located approximately 2 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia, pseudoephedrine pills, and hypodermic needles, reports said.

Deputies obtained consent to search their motel room and seized paraphernalia, a large amount of suspected marijuana and suspected methamphetamine, reports said.

All four people were taken into custody on various charges.
