Deputies: SUV crashes into school bus

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -

An SUV driver lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a school bus Friday morning, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened on M-60 near Pine Lake Street in Howard Township around 8:30 a.m.

Deputies said the SUV was traveling eastbound don M60 when the driver lost control. The SUV traveled into the path of the school bus.

The driver of the school bus was unable to avoid the collision.

No one was injured in the accident.

There were 28 students on the bus at the time of the crash. They were transferred to a second bus by Niles Schools staff.

Deputies said alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash.
