Deputy helps to rescue injured hawk

The deputy responded to the area of County Road 26, just west of County Road 19 and contacted the Elkhart County Humane Society.
According to the department, the beautiful bird will be taken to a rehabilitation facility to ensure that it fully recovers from its injuries.
