Derek Dieter wins Republican primary for St. Joseph County Commissioner District 2

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Derek Dieter on Tuesday won the Republican primary for St. Joseph County Commissioner District 2.
The results are technically unofficial until certified on June 12 due to provisional ballots.
Dieter beat Jordon Budreau for the Democratic nomination during the primary. Dieter earned 73% of the vote while Budreau earned 27%.
Dieter will run against Democratic candidate Oliver Davis in November for the position.
