Diaper donation event being hosted in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Christ Child Society of South Bend will be accepting diaper donations during its 3rd Annual Diaper Drop event on May 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The organization says that diaper donations are greatly needed to help struggling mothers and families during times of record inflation.

All donated diapers will be distributed to El Campito, St. Margaret’s House, YWCA, La Case de Amistad, Center for the Homeless and St. Vincent de Paul as well as Foster Hope, a Christ Child Society program.

Event organizers have set the goal for 2022’s Diaper Drop at 60,000 donated diapers. That would be a 50 percent increase on the 40,000 diapers donated in 2021.
