Diggins named Big East Player of the Week

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame junior guard Skylar Diggins is getting more acknowledgments for her work on the court.
Diggins is the first Big East Conference Player of the Week for the 2011-12 season. This is the second time she's been picked for this award.
This is the 70Th time a Fighting Irish women's basketball player has earned a Big East weekly award.
