Much milder this weekend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One woman was shot near Cedar and Jacob Street late Sunday night, according to St. Joseph County Dispatch.
The call came in at approximately 10:06 p.m. after ShotSpotter recorded 8 gunshots.
Police say a female victim was shot in the leg.
The victim was shot in her home but the bullets came from outside the residence.
She was taken by an ambulance to a the hospital where police say she is in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
