Donation jar theft suspects arrested

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. – The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in the theft of the Muscular Dystrophy donation jar.
Deputies said they received over 20 tips that helped identify the suspects.
Monica Babin and Garrison Beitz were arrested and charged with class D felony theft and booked into the LaGrange County Jail.
In addition to the theft charge, Beitz had four outstanding arrest warrants out of three surrounding counties.
