Dowagiac man convicted of murder faces life in prison

DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- On Wednesday, a Dowagiac man was found guilty of murder.
20-year-old Jaren Wade shot and killed Darius Nickens last April.
Then he went on the run for two months, before police found him at a South Bend apartment.
The jury also convicted Wade on gun charges.
He is set to be sentenced on June 1.
He faces life in prison.
