Dowagiac Middle School student possibly facing criminal charges for bringing pellet gun to school

DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- A 13-year-old could be facing criminal charges for bring an Airsoft gun to school.
Wednesday, Dowagiac police were called to the middle school after someone reported seeing a student with a weapon.
Officers found the pellet gun in an 8th grade student's locker. Investigators say no threats were ever made.
The case has been handed off to the Cass County Prosecutor's Office.
