Dowagiac Union High School student brings toy gun to school

DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- Some Dowagiac Union High School students could be in big trouble for bringing a toy gun to school on Thursday.
The building was locked down while police investigated.
It happened just after 8:15 a.m.
School officials were told that a student may have brought a weapon into the building, but it turned out to be an Airsoft toy gun.
The situation is still no laughing matter.
The Cass County Prosecutor's Office is reviewing the case. The students involved could face charges.
