CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- One woman has been hospitalized after she went off the road and rolled her vehicle in Cass County around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday night.

Reports indicate that 65-year-old Valerie Norman, of Dowagiac, was driving north on M-51 near the intersection of Maple Lane when authorities say she drove off the roadway to the right.

"The vehicle rolled over, and came to its final rest on its roof," Cass County deputies said. "Norman was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash."

Authorities say seatbelts were worn and that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.

The crash remains under investigation.
