Downtown South Bend winding down summer with September First Fridays

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Who let the dogs out? Downtown South Bend, of course!

As summer comes to a close, Downtown South Bend is sending it off in style with its September First Fridays event, “Dog Days of Summer.”

From 5 to 8 p.m., you can bring your dogs downtown for a night of food and fun for both humans and pups!

Several restaurants throughout the city will have pet-friendly patios open:

From 5 to 8 p.m., the Gridiron will host a number of rescue groups and organizations supporting local pets, as well as vendors, a dog obstacle course and photo booth.

You can also pop over to the Morris from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to see a free performance from the Tennessee State Marching Band in the Jon Hunt Plaza.
