Two other areas of the building were damaged and the driver was not found at the scene.

The investigation eventually led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Benton Harbor woman, who was taken to the Berrien County Jail for the following charges:

  • Malicious destruction of property $20,000 or more
  • Fail to report the accident
  • Operating without security
