Driver arrested after allegedly leaving scene of crash in LaGrange County

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind.—A driver was arrested on August 13 after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage, according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department.

A hit-and-run crash was reported around 4:26 a.m. on August 13 near the area of C.R. 500 S. and C.R. 1200 W.

The vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, that police believe left the scene was later located and the driver, Amber Donat of Topeka, was arrested.

Donat was booked into the LaGrange County Jail on suspicion of leaving the scene of a property damage crash.
