EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – The driver who allegedly led Cass County Deputies on a high speed chase through Edwardsburg Wednesday evening, was arrested after crashing their vehicle.
According to CCSO, deputies arrived on the scene of a rear end collision crash at U.S. 12 and Conrad Road around 7:40 p.m. where no one was seriously injured.
One of the drivers, a 26-year-old from Niles, took off from the scene and led deputies on a chase east on U.S. 12 to Dailey Road where the suspect crashed near Jefferson Center Road.
Officials say the driver was taken into custody and transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac for possible injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to this crash.
