Driver arrested on drug charges following traffic stop

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A Syracuse man was arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop, according to the Narcotics Enforcement Team, NET 43.

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by 46-year-old David Charles Reed on September 25 on Hatchery Road.

During the traffic stop, a canine from the Winona Lake Police Department alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, marijuana, weight scales and empty plastic bags, according to NET 43.

Reed has been charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana (class A misdemeanor), possession of marijuana (class B misdemeanor) and possession of paraphernalia.
