Driver dead after early morning accident in Niles

Charred trees and burned car parts were all that was left over today after an SUV crashed into a Niles residence just after midnight on Sunday.The SUV left the roadway and crashed into a set of trees and then caught on fire. The vehicle was completely engulfed in flames by the time emergency crews arrived.The only occupant, the driver, was killed. Neighbors nearby didn't see or hear anything until after the wreck was cleaned up.
