Driver disregards redlight, sends another driver to Elkhart General

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A two-vehicle crash sent a woman to the hospital on Thursday in Elkhart County after one driver disregarded a redlight on S.R. 120.

Authorities say 20-year-old Isaiah Hunt, of Bristol, was driving a 2021 Toyota Camry east on S.R. 120, west of C.R. 15, when they disregarded a stop light and collided with a 2014 Honda CRV that was headed north on C.R. 15.

The Honda was driven by a 77-year-old Elkhart woman who was taken to Elkhart General Hospital following the crash.

The call for the crash came in around 1:34 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.
