Driver killed in collision with dump truck identified

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- US20 at 600 West in LaGrange County was shut down Wednesday morning for several hours because of a fatal accident between a pickup truck and a dump truck.
According to the LaGrange County Sheriff's Office, the pickup truck was driving southbound on 600 West when the driver ran through a stop sign and collided with a dump truck heading west on US20.
The dump truck caught fire, but its driver escaped without injury.
The driver of the pickup truck died in the accident. He has been identified as Harvey Bontrager of Goshen.
