Driver on moped flees from police

Elkhart Police arrested the driver of a moped who refused to pull over for a traffic stop.
An officer attempted to pull over the driver of a moped Friday evening around 11:25 p.m. in the area of Riverview Avenue and Superior Boulevard.
The moped refused to stop, police said. When the moped drove along the railroad tracks, the officer terminated the pursuit.
Other officers in the area located the moped in the area of Collins Road and Industrial Parkway.
The driver, 19-year-old Damion Stabler, was arrested for resisting law enforcement (flees in vehicle.).
