Driver, passenger accused of cocaine, marijuana possession in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - A driver and passenger were charged for possession of cocaine and marijuana after officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia in their vehicle during a traffic stop, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

At 12:50 a.m. on Friday, an officer witnessed a black 2009 Ford SUV traveling nearly 100 miles per hour on U.S. 31 near 12th Road.

The officer caught up to the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop near 14C Road.

During the stop, K9 officer Diesel was brought to the scene and alerted to the smell of narcotics coming from the vehicle, reports said.

Officers found marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and paraphernalia that tested positive for cocaine in the vehicle, according to reports.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as William Biggs Jr., was taken to the Marshall County Jail on the charges of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and reckless driving.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Jamie Bledsoe, was taken to the Marshall County Jail on the charges of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

The two are being held on $1,500 cash bonds.
