Driver suffers serious injuries after accident.

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. — A driver is recovering in the hospital after an accident in Michigan City.
A car slammed into semi in the 500 block of Franklin Street just after midnight on Wednesday.
The driver had to be flown by Med Flight to Memorial Hosptial.
Officials tell ABC57 that driver suffered serious injuries.
The driver of the semi did not seek treatment.
