The threat of freezing rain has diminished for most of Michiana. However, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM for the following counties: Lagrange, Steuben, Branch, Hillsdale, and St. Joseph (MI). These areas may experience significant impacts on this evening's commute due to mixed precipitation. Rain is expected throughout the afternoon as temperatures rise toward 40°F. Winds will remain breezy, with sustained speeds around 15 mph and gusts reaching up to 25 mph. Possible mixed precipitation this evening as temps falls near freezing tonight, majority rain. Temperatures will continue to warm through the week, bringing another chance of rain Wednesday morning. Rain chances increase heading into the weekend, while temperatures begin to cool as we approach the New Year.
