No need to use an umbrella as you are out the door this Monday morning, but take it with you. Rain and thunderstorms are likely for the afternoon and evening.
There is a very low risk for severe weather this evening; the primary hazard is gusty wind, but we also could see some pockets of heavy rain.
Be prepared that there could be some ponding of water on the roads as you drive home from work today. Any downpours on your evening commute could mean lower visibility, so remember to use your car's headlights even if it is still daylight.
A few showers could linger into early Tuesday, then it’s a mostly dry day.
Temperatures Tuesday through the end of the week will be in the low to mid 70s, which is just a tad below normal for this time of year, but should feel comfortable.
Another round of showers will move through on Wednesday.
Thursday we can enjoy some sunshine. There is a slight chance for showers Friday night.
Today: Afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High 80.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms. Low 56.
Tuesday: Few AM showers. Partly cloudy. High 72.
Wednesday: Scattered showers. High 74.
