SOUTH BEND, Ind.-Downtown South Bend is kicking off the holiday season by hosting a Small Business Saturday event.
Several downtown businesses including Ali on the Boulevard, The South Bend Chocolate Café and Just Goods will have deals.
“We’re not known for any one shop it’s whole community of shops and I think that is what is so important and I think that’s what makes South Bend so vibrant,” said Leslie Pinson, Director of Business Engagement for Downtown South Bend.
From 10 A.M. to 3 P.M., DTSB staff will have a welcome center in a warehouse space located next to Ziker’s Cleaners on Jefferson Boulevard. Shoppers can go there to get a list of all the deals and get a free reusable shopping bag.
