Dwayne Wade takes high school student to prom

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade escorted a Florida teen to prom the third weekend of May.
The girl made a YouTube video asking him to be her date. She also asked Wade last year and he never responded.
"It was so cool to come in, you know to be talking to her on the phone and then to be able to walk in and see her reaction was awesome," said Wade.
Wade said he accepted the teen's invitation because he loved her persistence.
