Early voting is underway

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The election is still a few weeks away but some of you can already cast your vote.

Early voting is underway at the county city building in downtown South Bend.

If you would like to vote absentee just go to the St. Joseph County Clerk's Office with a photo ID.

"I think one of the big benefits of voting early is it's convenient and easy to vote early" says Cindy Streich, Supervisor, absentee voting.

Only Hoosiers can vote early in person.

Indiana and Michigan have absentee voting by mail but you have to meet certain requirements.
