Eastern Pulaski Community School to dismiss early on Tuesday

PULASKI COUNTY, Ind. -- Eastern Pulaski Community Schools will dismiss early Tuesday, Dec. 11th.

The school corporation made the following announcement on their Facebook page Monday:

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of 8th grader Owen Abbott last week. In an effort to meet the needs of our students and staff wishing to attend the service tomorrow and in consultation with the Indiana Department of Education as well as others, to show our respect we will release the elementary at 12:45 p.m. and middle school/high school at 12:55 p.m. tomorrow, Tues. Dec. 11th.

The after school child care for elementary students will continue until 5:15 p.m. as normal and evening activities will also take place as scheduled.

Recognizing the inconvenience of this early dismissal day, Eastern Pulaski greatly appreciates the cooperation and support of parents as we grieve the loss of our young Warrior. #WarriorStrong”
