Edith Schmucker funeral details released

Edith Schmucker, the other driver who died in the crash on SR 19 on August 3, will be remembered by family and friends on August 13.

Schmucker was a Warsaw High School graduate and worked at Miller's Merry Manor in Wakarusa.

She is survived by her three sons, a partner and several siblings.

The visitation is being held August 13 from 4 - 7 p.m. at Thompson Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee.

Edith Jo Schmucker, age 56, of Nappanee, passed away on August 3, 2022.  She was born May 20, 1966 in Elkhart County to Harold E. and Karen (Brock) Schmucker.  Edith was a Nappanee lifetime area resident.  She was a 1985 Warsaw High School graduate.  Edith had worked at Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa.  She enjoyed family time, and caring for her patients at Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa.  Surviving are her 3 sons, Tyler Schmucker, Warsaw, Brock (Samantha) Schmucker, Dowagiac, MI, Mikel D. Renze, Nappanee; long time significant other Vincent Renze; brothers, Randy (Brenda) Schmucker, Etna Green, Gary Schmucker, Etna Green, Tim (Lori) Schmucker, Nappanee; sister, Roxanne (Juan) Leal, Milford.  Edith was preceded in death by her parents.  Family and friends may gather from 4-7 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.  Memorial contributions may be given to Mikel Renze memorial fund.
