EDWARDSBERG, Mich. -- Edwardsburg Rocket Cheer is holding a fundraiser called Shoe Us Some Love running Feb. 1 through Mar. 31. 

The goal of the shoe fundraiser is to raise funds for brand-new team pom poms—while giving used shoes to people in need around the world.

Through this fundraiser, Edwardsburg Rocket Cheer will collect gently worn, used, and new shoes of all kinds.

The organization earns funds based on the total weight of shoes collected, with proceeds issued by Funds2Orgs to support the purchase of new team poms.

Community members are invited to participate by donating shoes at the Drive-Thru Drop-Off Event on Saturday, Febr. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake.

Additional collection box locations will be posted on the Edwardsburg Rocket Cheer Facebook page.

By donating gently worn, used, and new shoes to the Edwardsburg Rocket Cheer Shoe Us Some Love Shoe Drive, each pair is given a second chance to make a meaningful difference in lives around the world.
