BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The eighth annual Juneteenth parade and celebration will take place on Saturday, June 14.

The parade lineup will start at 11:30 a.m. at Whirlpool Riverview Drive Campus. The parade starts at 1:00 p.m. and will head east on Main Street and end at the City Center Park where the celebration will begin. 

Vendors for food and local agencies will be present along with activities for children, stage performances, and more.

The celebration ends with a live performance from Work In Progress Band and a line dance instructor teaching the community how to do the popular "Boots on the Ground" dance.
