Elkhart announces this year's WinterFest schedule

Elkhart’s WinterFest on December 4 includes breakfast with Santa, ice skating, a light parade, tree lighting and a free movie at the Lerner.

The day’s events include Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. to noon at Central Fire Station, The Ralph Hartnagel Memorial Skate at NIBCO Water and Ice Park, the Elkhart Education Foundation’s Ugly Sweater Run and Elkhart’s annual Christmas tree lighting.

Downtown merchants will also have open houses with deals, discounts and kids crafts.

The parade runs on Main Street from Harrison to Lexington. The parade and tree lighting will be from 6 to 7 p.m.

After the parade and tree lighting, you can watch Elf the movie at 8 p.m. at The Lerner Theatre. Admission is free.
