ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards meeting Friday, with hundreds of guests representing local businesses.
500 local business leaders and non-profits gathered at the Lerner Theater's Crystal Ballroom downtown.
The theme this year is "Right Here, Right Now", with a panel discussion on the push to attract more companies, more workers, and more families to the area.
John Katalinich, Chairperson of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, stated, "It's a great gathering of all the business opportunity synergy. The entrepreneurship spirit within Elkhart County is very present."
Levon Johnson, President, and CEO of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, added, "The baseline is really about people and regardless of the business, we have to remember that it is people. Whether it be customers, or employees, or management, or whatever it is, and we want to continue to draw people to Elkhart."
ABC57's Brian Conybeare served as the emcee at the event for the sixth year in a row.
Congratulations to all of this year's award winners.
