Lockdown lifted at Elkhart Christian Academy

The Elkhart Christian Academy was on lockdown Wednesday morning while Elkhart Police searched for a suspect nearby. The lockdown has since been lifted.
Police say they were called around 10 a.m. for a domestic call involving a man who may have a handgun at the Williamsburg on the Lake apartments, reports said.
The suspect was eventually apprehended in the Forest Creek area, police said.
The handgun was also located.
The lockdown has been lifted.
