ELKHART, Ind. - The Elkhart City Council met on August 21 to discuss a new ordinance regarding homeless encampments.
The ordinance prohibits camping and storing personal property on public property.
If left unattended, these items could be confiscated.
The issue is expected to be voted on during their September 4 meeting.
