Elkhart City Hall holds conference to address goose problem

ELKHART, Ind. -- The City of Elkhart is meeting at the City Hall on Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to discuss the formulation of a Wildlife Coexistence Plan.

This conference is in response to numerous complaints of the Canada Geese population obstructing public areas and roadways.

The Coexistence plan will constitute an effort to mediate human-wildlife interactions in the city, especially in its urban centers.

The public forum looks to gain community insight in order to locate problem areas, species, and potential solutions.

The Elkhart City Hall address is 229 South 2nd Street.
