Elkhart city officials to be sworn in January 1

Mayor-elect Tim Neese and other newly elected Elkhart city officials will be sworn in on January 1.
The public is invited to the swearing in and celebration at the Lerner Theatre Crystal Ballroom on South Main Street.
The event begins at noon on Friday, January 1.
Former Indiana Secretary of State Ed Simcox will be the Master of Ceremonies.
Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
The public is asked to bring canned food donations for Church Community Services.
