ELKHART, Ind. -- In 2026, Elkhart Community Schools is rolling out a virtual learning program where students can attend a completely asynchronous form of schooling starting in the fall.
This program is available for students grades 6-12 and is tuition free, but anyone in the state of Indiana in those grades can sign up for this new form of learning.
There are over 400 courses and so far, there have been around 160 applications. Students who apply for the program are still able to participate in clubs, and other programs, with the only exception being no ISHAA Sports.
