Elkhart County deputies looking for man who robbed gas station at gunpoint

ELKHART, Ind.- Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department detectives are asking for your help to identify a robbery suspect who made off with cash after robbing a local gas station.

Detectives say at approximately 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, the man entered into the Marathon gas station located at 22013 SR 120 and approached the store’s clerk, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the cash register. 

After having the clerk open the cash register, the suspect removed the money and left.

The suspect was described as a light skinned black male in his twenties who was wearing a ball cap and a hooded sweatshirt.  His approximate height is 6’2”.
