Elkhart County Homicide Unit investigating death of 41-year-old man

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.—The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a 41-year-old man.
Police were called to the area of 6th and Concord on December 17 around 7:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
A 41-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
The victim has been identified as Rochad Washington, 41, of Elkhart.
Autopsy results were released on Monday.
Washington’s death has been ruled a homicide but police did not share any other details.
