Elkhart County Humane Society: Hefty has a home

BRISTOL, Ind. -- We've learned that Hefty has a home.
You may remember Hefty was pulled from a landfill in Elkhart County, back in June.
The kitten was about to be crushed when he crawled out of a box and was taken to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
We checked with the Humane Society on Wednesday, and they were happy to report that Hefty was adopted earlier this month.
