Elkhart County man allegedly tries to set ex-wife on fire

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. — A man is in Elkhart County jail Saturday for allegedly trying to set his ex-wife on fire.
According to our reporting partners at Michiana News Channel, police were called to the woman's home on Best Avenue during the second week of May.
The alleged criminal, Larry Haines, came to the woman's house and doused her in lighter fluid. He then threatened to kill her.
He faces invasion of privacy and assault charges.
