Elkhart County man sentenced to life in prison for murdering his neighbor

ELKHART CO., Ind. -- An Elkhart County man will spend the rest of his life locked up.
On Thursday, a judge sentenced Tyrice Halliburton to life in prison without parole.
He was found guilty last month of the 2008 murder of his neighbor, Sheena Kiska.
She had been stabbed more than 50 times.
On Thursday, at his sentencing, Halliburton proclaimed his innocence and said he plans to appeal.
