ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Heartland Mushers Association, in partnership with Elkhart County Parks, is hosting a two-hour hands-on dog mushing crash course on November 22.  The event takes place at the River Preserve County Park. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to work alongside their dogs and explore the world of dog mushing through dryland training techniques and a special dryland trail. 

This program invites dogs and their owners to test their mushing potential in a fun, beginner-friendly environment. Whether you're a seasoned dog owner or just curious about the sport, this course provides an engaging introduction to the skills needed for dog mushing.

The event is 12+ and costs 10 dollars per person. You can register for the event here.  The registration deadline is November 20.
