Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department captain placed on paid leave
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.—The Elkhart County Sheriff Department has placed Captain Jim Bradberry on administrative leave due to an investigation.
Sheriff Jeff Siegel confirms that he placed Bradberry on administrative leave, which is paid, after recently being made aware of an earlier investigation that resulted in the termination of three process servers.
The three process servers were found to have claimed they worked hours that they had not, for an extended period of time.
Siegel says that the administrative leave is protocol during an investigation.
It is unknown how long the investigation will take or how long Bradberry will be on administrative leave.
Bradberry is also the department’s public information officer.
