Elkhart County Sheriff's Office invites community comments and crituques

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office is scheduled for a law enforcement assessment as part of a program to achieve reaccreditation by verifying the agency is maintaining professional standards.

Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc., the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policies and procedures, administration, operation, and support services.
