Elkhart Dining Days gets cooking this weekend

Get your forks and your appetites ready! Elkhart Dining Days returns this weekend, with lots of deals for you to take advantage of and new foods to try.

It's really a great time to take the family out to places you may have not been before and try something new.

There are 11 restaurants offering special menus. And these prices can't be beat. Meals range from five dollars to thirty dollars, with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

10 percent of the proceeds go to a great cause, Church Community Services, which benefited strongly from last year's Dining Days.


"In 2014 we raised $7,200 dollars for church community services," said Krystal Vivian at Flavor 574. "They use their money to buy food at 18 cents a pound. So that's half the amount of food they serve every year. So if we can do that again this year, that would be phenomenal."
