Elkhart driver in the hospital

ELKHART, Ind. -- An Elkhart driver was taken to the hospital after he lost control on slippery roads. Police said 36-year-old Dustin Taylor illegally passed another vehicle and went off the side of the road and then struck a tree.
The vehicle had to be towed. The driver suffered a fractured wrist and ribs, and a broken nose.
The driver was issued a citation for passing in a no-passing zone, and for driving too fast for weather conditions.
